Kimberly’s Wanderings & Wonderings

December holds a special place in my heart.

It’s a month of joy of giving, the warmth of connection, and the gift of time spent with the people who matter most (shh….it’s also my birthday month too). As we close out another year, I find myself reflecting on the moments that brought us together and looking ahead to new beginnings.

I was recently asked to share my most special moment of joy and the one that brought me the most sadness. Thankfully, so many happy memories immediately came to mind, and it was hard to pick one. Additionally, while there was sadness and pain this past year, the joy far outweighed the pain. Take a few moments and reflect on your year, the highs and the lows. Be curious in your self-reflection.

This season is about more than celebrations. It’s about gratitude for the relationships we’ve built and the experiences we’ve shared. It’s about bringing closure to one chapter while eagerly turning the page to the next. As we stand at this threshold between years, I want to share three wishes with you:

  1. Be kind—to yourself and to others. In a world that often demands so much of us, remember that compassion begins within. Extend that same grace to those around you.
  2. Stay curious. Read widely. Engage in meaningful conversations. Think deeply. Explore the unknown with an open mind. Knowledge isn’t just power—it’s the key to understanding ourselves and the world we inhabit.
  3. Stay connected. As many of you know, I’ve recently launched my own consulting company. This new chapter is both exciting and humbling. I’d be grateful if you’d take a moment to follow me on social media and subscribe to this newsletter. I promise not to overwhelm your inbox—you can expect one or two thoughtful updates each month.

Thank you for being part of my journey. Your support, wisdom, and friendship mean more to me than words can express.

Wishing you all the blessings this holiday season brings, and cheers to a healthy, happy, and endlessly curious 2026.

With joy, gratitude and endless curiosity,

Kimberly
